"Luckily for me my room had an air conditioner as it was very hot that week ! The hallways and the elevator were very hot but my main concern was the fact that there were two power outages during my stay and there was no emergency lighting!! the lights were there but never did come on. The staff apparently didn't know how to handle the situation well(this was just heresay as I and a couple of other guests left the hotel and did'nt see anyone from the hotel) Upon returning,the power was back but the elevator only went to the 3rd floor and guests and to walk from there (I did'nt get on) The second power outage occured about 5am , I stayed in my room but when I looked out in the hallway again there were no emergency lights.Apart from that I enjoyed my stay."

The Best Western Gold Rush Inn is the only Best Western property in the Yukon Territory. Located in the Northwest of Canada, immediately east of Alaska in Yukon's Capital City, Whitehorse, only two hours from Vancouver by daily jet service.
